Ritesh Deshmukh Biography
This cool and funny actor was born on December 17, 1978. He completed his education in Architecture from G. D. Somaya High School and Kamala Raheja School. He worked in New York, U.S.A. after graduation. He studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
He is the son of Vilasrao Deshmukh.who is the the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Ritesh’s grandfather was totally against his acting career but his father and mother supported his decision of joining films.
It was cinematographer Kabir Lal who first suggested Ritesh’s name to director K Vijaya Bhaskar and Bhaskar launched him in his movie “Tujhe Meri Kasam” in the year 2003. This was the start of Ritesh’s acting carrer.
Tujhe Meri Kasam was an average hit at the box office. Ritesh established himself as an actor from the movie “Masti” which was a comedy film. Ritesh has changed his name’s spelling from ‘Ritesh’ to ‘Riteish’ for numerological reasons.
Ritesh had acted in a lot of hit movies like Bluffmaster, Kya Kool Hain Hum and Malamaal Weekly. These movies gave Ritesh individual identity as actor an. He also worked in the horror movie “Darna Maana hai”.
Ritesh loves to play cricket and watch movies during his free time. He also loves to party at Athena which is very popular Mumbai nightclub.
