Ritesh plays Kishan a conman from Goa who tricks people by using various guises. During the course of the movie he changes into a lot of characters to gain his end. One of the most interesting characters is Sania where he disguises as a women and lures Pandit Satyabol Shastri (Anupam Kher) to fall in love with him! The choas that ensues is hilarious. Ritesh's performance in the movie is unmatched and he is simply adoring when he portrays a woman. His comic timing is simply perfect.
Ritesh also shows his dancing prowess in the song Guitar. Part of the song is filmed with him in drag.
Apna Sapna Money Money revolves around a bunch of madcap characters that eat, drink, sleep and worship money.
A fast-paced situational comedy, it is glorified by an ensemble of assorted and interesting characters. The story revolves around a mechanic, a conman, a club dancer, an upright cop, an obsessed father and his homely daughter, a tabela owner, a ruthless gangster, a deadly don and his moll and an unpredictable dog. A journey filled with rib-tickling moments throughout.

A hilarious journey of 11, a limitless quest for money, and a twisting and turning tale of love; the money swings around them and creates amusing and maddening circumstances.
